Joe Condomitti, Head Golf Professional
Joe Condomitti is entering his second season as Head Golf Professional at Bonnie Briar. Joe is from Cornwall, NY and comes to us from Tamarack Country Club. Joe worked under three National Award winning Golf Professionals: Michael Breed, Jim McLean and Tom Henderson. Joe is a Plane Truth certified instructor and US Kids certified instructor. He is excited to bring these new instructional programs to Bonnie Briar.
Barbara Shipley, Assistant Golf Professional
Barbara Shipley is pleased to be joining the team at Bonnie Briar this summer. Barbara was born and raised in Seneca Falls, NY and has worked at several clubs in the Metropolitan section including Quaker Ridge, Scarsdale and Rockrimmon. Barbara spent a large portion of her golf life at PGA National Golf Club obtaining experience in all areas of the golf business. Barbara is excited to share her passion for teaching and coaching with the members at Bonnie Briar.
James Pilla, Starter/Director of Outside Operations
A native of New Rochelle, James Pilla enters his 17th season at Bonnie Briar. This will be his 7th year as Starter/Director of Outside Operations. When away from the club, James enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
Michael Collins, Assistant Starter
Michael Collins is entering his second year as Assistant Starter at Bonnie Briar. Michael will be working with James and will primarily be closing down the outside operations. Michael will also be caddying. He has over 16 years of experience including working at Old Oaks and Winged Foot. The White Plains native is currently in the process of becoming a PGA Apprentice. When Michael is away from golf, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog.
Drew Miller, a native from a small town in Southern Indiana, found himself in love with the game of golf at a young age. He was a three-sport athlete in high school but grew a greater passion for golf. Drew currently attends Florida Gulf Coast University and is in his third year as a Professional Golf Management student. Drew has interned previously at Lake of Isles in Stonington, CT, Colonial Country Club in Fort Myers, FL, and most recently at The Aquidneck Club in Portsmouth, RI. Some of Drew's goals during this internship are to gain experience with teaching and player development.
Sam Turner will be joining us from St. Michael's, MD and currently attends The University of Maryland Eastern Shore where he is studying Professional Golf Management. Sam will be one of our 3-month interns and is very excited to come join the team at Bonnie Briar.
Julia Fischer is joining Bonnie Briar this season as the Merchandising Intern. Julia is from Cornwall, NY and attends the University of Oswego. Julia is currently studying Health & Wellness Management at Oswego wants to pursue a career in medical sales. Julia is Joe Condomitti’s younger sister and is very excited to meet the membership.
