We welcome Asi back for his ninth season at BBCC, this will be his fourth year as Director of Tennis. Asi is a certified USPTA/PTR/PPTR/PPR Teaching Professional. He played 4 years of Division 1 Tennis for Mount Saint Mary’s University. After graduation, Asi worked at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center with the High Performance Program designed for the top sectional and national ranked juniors in the Eastern Section. For 9 years, Asi was the Head Women’s Tennis Coach for Division 1, Long Island University. While at L.I.U., Asi was a 4x NCAA NEC Coach of the Year, 2010 NCAA ITA Northeast Region Coach of the Year, and 2x NCAA NEC Tennis Champion. He led the Long Island University Blackbirds to two NCAA National berths in 2009 and 2010.
